Wiley is a global company headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey. Starting as a small print shop in Manhattan 200 years ago, Wiley now has 22 worldwide offices with over 7,000 employees. In the run-up to the Frankfurt Book Fair, Wiley had a big announcement: Wiley Partner Solutions, a new division within its Research business. We teamed up with the Wiley Partner Solutions to create a launch video to accompany this big announcement. Wiley Partner Solutions covers various digital platforms, publishing solutions, and services. Aligning with their mission statement, “Unlocking the human potential,” we knew precisely how to approach this story – bring out the true testimony of clients who have successfully partnered with Wiley for this endeavor, making it a relatable human story. Specular provided concept development, writing, directing, interviews, full production crew for multiple locations including Beijing, China, and all of postproduction and final deliverables including social cutdowns.
